Watch Disney+ together since GroupWatch is gone
Disney+ removed GroupWatch in September 2023. Futari does the same job from the browser: each of you opens the title on Disney+ and the playback stays in sync.
How to start
- Create a room in Futari and send the code.
- Your friend joins with the code.
- Open the movie or the episode on Disney+: both screens start together.
What Futari follows on Disney+
Futari reads the real position from the Disney+ player and seeks through it. In tests between two accounts, the position stayed within a tenth of a second after pauses, restarts and skips. The next episode follows too.
What each of you needs
A Disney+ account each, and a computer with Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera or Firefox.
