Watch a series together, episode after episode
With a series, the hard part is not the first episode, it is the next one. Futari follows the episode: when one of you moves on, the other screen goes to the same episode.
The next episode follows
On Netflix, Disney+, Crunchyroll, ADN and YouTube, Futari knows which episode you are watching. When one of you starts the next one, the other is taken to it and both start together.
On Prime Video, an episode that starts by itself at the end of the previous one is not seen yet: each of you starts the next one and Futari puts you back in sync.
A room that stays open
The room stays open as long as you keep it, even after closing the browser. The next evening, you are still in it: open the series and carry on.
Each with their own account
Futari does not share the video. Each of you watches on your own account, with your own subtitle and audio settings, and only the playback is synced.
Questions
Do we need to be on the same site?
Yes. Futari opens the same episode for everyone, so you all watch on the same service.
What happens when someone skips the intro?
The other screen skips too. Going back works the same way, and a notice says who did it.
Is it free?
Yes: sync, chat and every site are free with no time limit, and there is no account to create. Gold, optional, adds extras.
