Watch anime together, each at home
Futari started with anime: two friends in two cities, the new episode on the evening it comes out. Each one watches on their own account and the episode stays in sync.
Made for anime sites
Crunchyroll and ADN are recognized, as are Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video for their anime catalogues, and YouTube for official channels. Futari knows the episode and takes everyone to the next one together.
Openings, recaps and replays
Skip the opening on one side and the other skips too. Go back to see a fight again and your friend goes back with you. A notice on the video says who did it.
No one to watch with?
The Futari Discord has a place to find someone who follows the same series as you. Start the episode together the same evening.
Questions
Which anime sites work?
Crunchyroll, ADN, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube and Dailymotion are recognized. Any other site with a video in the page can be synced with "Sync this tab".
Do we both need a paid account?
Each of you needs access to the episode on your own account, free or paid, as the site offers it.
Can we chat during the episode?
Yes, with the small chat and its six reactions, shown on the video even in full screen. Nothing is kept once you leave the room.
